Here is an amazing video of a baby Sea Turtle nest. The video follows a newborn sea turtle from the nest to the water. Very interesting to watch the chronical of instinct and the struggle for survival.

You turn on the local news, and this is what you get: war, murder, crime, murder, war, crime.

It's depressing. Unfortunately, this dark trend seems to be affecting animal news as well. Evil penguins, evils squirrels, dogs and cats fighting...

Well, today on The Animal Blog brings no exception.

A man in Florida is yet to be found after being pulled overboard from his boat by a sea turtle. He was participating in a sea turtle study with the University of Central Florida.
